THE PROBLEM

This finished casting has very critical requirements due to its application. This meant that we had to meet stringent internal casting quality in addition to critical secondary machining and a salt spray test to validate corrosion resistance. The process requires more than just casting a mould in a ‘corrosion resistant’ alloy.

THE SOLUTION

Texmo skilled product engineers are expert at setting up castings for manufacture to achieve stringent internal quality standards. We carried out simulations, worked with our customer and fine tuned features and dimensions to achieve the required standard. In addition, our expertise in casting stainless steel alloys means that we can quite easily achieve the highest standard of corrosion resistance.
